You will serve as Chief of Staff to the Head of Sales, acting as a strategic and operational force multiplier for the sales leadership team. This role sits at the intersection of sales strategy and execution, requiring you to move fluidly between high-level strategic planning and tactical deal support.
Key responsibilities include: serving as a trusted thought partner and proxy to the Head of Sales; designing and running the sales operating cadence (pipeline reviews, forecasts, QBRs, staff meetings, offsites); building pipeline visibility dashboards and forecasting analysis; owning sales enablement (decks, narratives, rep resources); leading cross-functional coordination with Marketing, Customer Engineering, Product, and Finance; applying analytical frameworks to complex problems like segmentation and territory strategy; supporting hiring and onboarding; and preparing executive-level strategic communications.
You will support the Forward Deployed Team (FDT) model, where sales teams work alongside carrier executives to identify problems, understand workflows, and co-create solutions. Your role is to improve meeting readiness, internal alignment, resource coordination, and follow-through—not to directly lead the FDT motion.
Required experience: 5-7 years total, including 2-4 years at a top-tier consulting firm (Bain, McKinsey, BCG or equivalent) or in a sales strategy, revenue operations, or chief-of-staff role at a high-growth company. You must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical ability, execution orientation, high ownership with low ego, and experience influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority. Familiarity with modern sales tools (CRM, sales engagement, BI platforms) is a plus.
The role offers competitive salary and equity, platinum healthcare, unlimited PTO, family leave, 3% 401(k) match, and remote work benefits including lunch stipends and home office perks.
