ServiceNow is seeking a Chief of Staff, Head of Marketing Strategy & Operations to lead the evolution of marketing from a campaign-driven function to a business-run operation with strategic discipline and operational rigor. This senior leadership role reports to the CMO and sits at the intersection of two disciplines: the classic Chief of Staff mandate (extending the CMO's reach, running the Office of the CMO, ensuring leadership alignment) and the operational rigor of a Marketing Strategy & Operations leader (owning planning rhythm, performance systems, and business infrastructure). Key Responsibilities: - Run the business of marketing by owning the operating model, planning rhythm, and performance systems that connect strategy to execution and execution to results. - Lead the Office of the CMO as a strategic hub that keeps the marketing leadership team aligned, focused, and moving in sync with the business. - Drive focus and accountability by translating company goals into clear marketing priorities, budgets, and metrics tied directly to pipeline and revenue. - Accelerate transformation by building frameworks, processes, and governance that make marketing sharper, more agile, and more accountable. - Oversee the Marketing AI Center of Excellence, driving AI adoption, governance, and innovation across strategy, content, and execution at scale. - Partner across Sales, Finance, and IT to define how ServiceNow engages and measures enterprise buying groups and operationalize those processes. - Lead major initiatives end-to-end, setting ownership, maintaining momentum, and ensuring measurable outcomes. - Lead M&A integration for Marketing, preparing and executing seamless integrations across teams and customer touchpoints. - Connect functions (brand, product, growth, field teams) to ensure effort and investment match impact. - Represent Marketing across the enterprise in company forums, ensuring alignment on priorities, resources, and business impact. - Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing organization that runs marketing like a world-class business. Success is measured by: marketing running with precision and discipline; the Office of the CMO serving as the center of clarity and alignment; strategy, programs, and buying group execution fully connected to business outcomes; the CMO and leadership team operating at full altitude; and the organization moving faster, working smarter, and delivering measurable business results. Requirements: - 15+ years leading marketing operations, strategy, or transformation in global, matrixed organizations - Proven operator who scales complex systems with clarity, speed, and discipline - Deep experience in planning, budgeting, performance management, and marketing ROI - Track record of leading transformation—simplifying complexity, modernizing processes, driving accountability - Experience leading senior teams across operations, planning, and emerging capabilities like AI - Strong communication and influencing skills; ability to lead confidently in any room - Calm, steady leadership style that brings focus and forward motion
