The Chief of Staff will partner with the Head of Talent to build and scale ElevenLabs' global Talent organization. This is a strategic and operational role spanning GTM, G&A, and Technical recruiting, Talent Operations, and Talent Programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating Talent strategy into execution by partnering with the Head of Talent to identify priorities, evaluate tradeoffs, and create clear plans with defined owners and outcomes. Bring informed perspective on where the organization needs to invest or change, build alignment with Talent leaders and cross-functional partners, and drive delivery.
- Embedding with teams and initiatives that need additional leadership, expertise, or execution capacity. Diagnose blockers to progress and take responsibility for improvement—whether leading hiring initiatives, strengthening processes, or supporting functions through change. Build capability while ensuring clear ownership and sustainable handovers.
- Leading high-visibility strategic projects from conception to outcome, such as new sourcing experiments and targeted talent campaigns. Convert early ideas into focused experiments, execute, and use evidence to decide what to scale, adapt, or stop.
- Improving cross-functional collaboration within the Talent organization by resolving issues that span teams, enhancing decision-making, and scaling effective practices. Use hiring data and direct experience to identify opportunities and help turn successful approaches into repeatable processes and better tool/AI utilization.
ElevenLabs operates with a high-velocity, impact-driven culture emphasizing rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, minimal bureaucracy, and AI-first approaches. The company prioritizes talent over location and maintains a global team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep talent expertise and demonstrated experience helping a global organization navigate hypergrowth at scale, including hundreds to thousands of hires annually across multiple regions and time zones. Must understand how talent operations and strategy evolve as hiring volume, team size, and business complexity increase.
- Comfort with both strategic shaping and hands-on execution. Ability to advise executives on difficult tradeoffs, build plans from ambiguous briefs, and go deep into searches, processes, or teams to diagnose and solve underlying problems.
- Proven track record leading teams, functions, or complex talent initiatives with clear accountability for results. Ability to earn trust quickly, lead through influence or direct ownership, and strengthen supported teams. Sound judgment about when to step in, coach, or hand ownership back.
- Experience delivering high-visibility projects with senior executive stakeholders, bringing structure, pace, and sound judgment to evolving priorities. Ability to constructively challenge ideas, test pragmatically, and communicate clearly about progress, results, and decisions needed.
- Preference for candidates in US-East or GMT timezones.
