ButterflyMX is seeking a Channel Sales Territory Manager to own and grow the company's integrator and reseller partner network across the Western territory. This is a quota-carrying revenue role focused on channel partnerships rather than direct end-customer sales.
The CTM will be responsible for managing partner relationships across all tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold) on the West Coast, including partner onboarding, deal registration, co-sell support, and quarterly business reviews. Key responsibilities include: executing three core motions—whale hunting (signing Tier 1 integrators), tier progression activation (moving partners up the ladder), and commercial vertical development; identifying and signing target integrators using project intelligence and competitive displacement opportunities; building joint business plans with Gold and Silver partners; running quarterly QBRs focused on unit economics and software margin trajectory; partnering with internal account executives on co-sell motions while maintaining deal registration discipline; traveling in-territory approximately 50% of the time to partner offices, job sites, and industry events; and maintaining accurate records and forecasts in Salesforce with weekly pipeline briefs and quarterly territory scorecards.
The ideal candidate brings deep integrator relationships, consultative relationship-first sales motion, CRM discipline with Salesforce fluency, and commercial vertical exposure. Required qualifications include 3+ years in quota-carrying channel sales, partner management, or business development roles (security, access control, video surveillance, low-voltage, or IT VAR experience preferred); proven track record building and growing partner relationships; comfort engaging at all organizational levels; Salesforce, Excel, and standard business software fluency; ability to work independently and operate against quarterly milestones; strong written and verbal communication; and willingness to travel approximately 50% in-territory. The role does not require prior installation or integrator employment experience but values vendor-side regional sales managers with deep integrator relationships, former account executives at security or access control OEMs, and partner-facing roles in adjacent categories.
