ButterflyMX is seeking a Channel Sales Territory Manager to own and grow the company's integrator and reseller partner network across the Western territory. This is a quota-carrying revenue role focused on channel partnerships rather than direct end-customer sales.
The CTM will quarterback partner onboarding, deal registration, co-sell support, and quarterly business reviews across all partner tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold). Core responsibilities include: whale hunting to sign Tier 1 integrators not currently in the program; tier progression activation to move partners up the ladder; and commercial vertical development. You'll identify and pursue target integrators using project intelligence from sources like ConstructConnect and install history, leading conversations with margin and recurring revenue economics rather than product features.
Key duties include building joint business plans with Gold and Silver partners, running quarterly QBRs that walk partners through unit economics and software margin trajectory, partnering with internal Account Executives on co-sell motions, and maintaining accurate records and forecasts in Salesforce. The role requires approximately 50% travel in-territory to partner offices, job sites, regional trade shows, and industry events.
The ideal candidate brings deep integrator relationships on the West Coast, a consultative relationship-first sales motion, strong Salesforce discipline and CRM hygiene, and commercial vertical exposure (smaller office, retail, mixed-use, boutique hospitality). Prior experience as an installer or integrator is not required, but vendor-side regional sales managers with integrator relationships, former Account Executives at security or access control OEMs, and partner-facing roles in adjacent categories are strong fits.
Required: 3+ years in quota-carrying channel sales, partner management, or business development; track record building and growing partner relationships; comfort engaging at all organizational levels; Salesforce and Excel fluency; ability to work independently and operate against quarterly milestones; strong communication skills; willingness to travel 50% in-territory.
