ButterflyMX is seeking a Channel Territory Manager to own and grow the company's integrator and reseller partner network across the Western territory. This is a quota-carrying revenue role focused on channel sales and partner management, not direct end-customer sales. The CTM will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with integrators and dealers across all partnership tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold). Key responsibilities include: owning partner relationships and executing the three core CTM motions—whale hunting (signing Tier 1 integrators), tier progression activation (moving partners up the ladder), and commercial vertical development. The role requires identifying and pursuing target integrators using project intelligence and competitive displacement opportunities, leading with margin and recurring revenue economics. Additional responsibilities include building joint business plans with Gold and Silver partners, running quarterly business reviews that walk partners through unit economics and software margin trajectory, partnering with internal account executives on co-sell motions, and maintaining accurate partner records and pipeline in Salesforce. The position requires approximately 50% travel in-territory to partner offices, job sites, regional trade shows, and industry events. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of quota-carrying channel sales, partner management, or business development experience, preferably in security, access control, video surveillance, low-voltage, or IT VAR sectors. Strong integrator relationships in the West Coast territory are valued. The candidate should be consultative and relationship-first in sales approach, with deep CRM discipline and Salesforce fluency. Commercial vertical exposure (smaller office, retail, mixed-use, boutique hospitality) is preferred. The role requires comfort engaging at all organizational levels within partner companies, from owners to install technicians to CFOs, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
