ButterflyMX is seeking a Channel Sales Territory Manager to own and grow the company's integrator and reseller partner network across the Western US territory. This is a quota-carrying revenue role focused on channel partnerships rather than direct end-customer sales.
The CTM will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with integrators and dealers across all partnership tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold). Key responsibilities include identifying and signing target integrators using project intelligence and competitive displacement opportunities, developing joint business plans with strategic partners, running quarterly business reviews focused on partner unit economics and pipeline, and supporting internal account executives on co-sell motions. The role requires maintaining accurate partner records and pipeline forecasting in Salesforce, with weekly pipeline briefs and quarterly territory scorecards delivered to leadership.
The position involves three core motions: whale hunting (signing Tier 1 integrators not currently in the program), tier progression activation (moving partners up the partnership ladder), and commercial vertical development. Success requires fluency in partner economics—P&L, truck rolls, RMR, labor margin, and install economics—rather than product feature selling.
Approximately 50% travel is required to partner offices, job sites, regional trade shows, and industry events. The ideal candidate brings existing West Coast integrator relationships, consultative relationship-first sales experience, Salesforce discipline with attribution rigor, and commercial vertical exposure (office, retail, mixed-use, hospitality). Prior experience as a vendor-side regional sales manager, security/access control OEM account executive, or partner-facing role in adjacent categories is valued.
Required qualifications include 3+ years in quota-carrying channel sales, partner management, or business development; track record of building partner relationships across tiers; comfort engaging at all organizational levels; Salesforce and Excel fluency; ability to work independently against quarterly milestones; strong communication skills; and willingness to travel 50% in-territory.
