Kraken (part of Payward, a 15-year-old fintech infrastructure platform) is seeking an experienced Change Management & Communications Manager to join the Internal Communications team. This is a fully remote role reporting to the Head of Internal Communications & Engagement.
You will serve as the communications and change lead supporting Payward's global People team and employee programs. Your core responsibilities include developing and executing internal communications strategies for organizational changes, program launches, and employee engagement initiatives. You'll create and produce employee-focused content including videos, presentations, internal messages, and events. You'll measure the effectiveness of communications and change management efforts, identify improvement opportunities at team and company-wide levels, and ensure alignment with Payward's brand voice and global communications strategy.
The role requires collaboration with leaders across central and west-coast US timezones on a daily basis, with a preference for US-based candidates.
You bring 5+ years of internal communications and change management experience, ideally in a technology company. You have hands-on experience delivering HR-focused change communications programs and working closely with HR/People teams. You possess superior written and oral communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or equivalent experience is preferred. You're organized, skilled at project management, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves to tackle challenges outside your immediate scope. You can develop creative, effective solutions to difficult communications problems.
