Maev is seeking a Chief Growth Officer or Senior Vice President of Growth to lead the company's full marketing engine and drive customer acquisition and retention at scale. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving on the executive team, this strategic leadership role owns all aspects of growth across the DTC business, including performance marketing, brand marketing, and lifecycle programs. The ideal candidate is an experienced operator who has scaled a category-defining CPG or DTC brand from growth-stage momentum into a meaningful, scaled business. You will be responsible for the full-funnel growth vision, roadmap, and forecast, integrating paid, owned, earned, and product-led growth initiatives while protecting LTV:CAC metrics and maximizing revenue. Key responsibilities include: owning an 8-figure growing marketing budget and defining optimal channel mix across Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, CTV, and other platforms; leading brand marketing strategy, creative development, and cultural activations; managing retention and lifecycle programs to drive continuous LTV improvement; setting and delivering against revenue, acquisition, and retention targets; and serving as the growth voice on the executive team with clear perspectives on market dynamics and competitive positioning. You will build and develop a high-performing team across performance marketing, brand marketing, creative, and lifecycle functions. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on commercial acumen—comfort pressure-testing media plans, shaping brand positioning, and leading with confidence. You are equally committed to developing your direct reports through coaching, mentorship, and feedback. Maev is the #1 fastest-growing, most disruptive brand in the pet nutrition category, positioned in a massive market (90M+ dogs in the US) with strong industry tailwinds. The company is built on innovation, quality, transparency, and emotional connection with dog parents.
