Salary: USD 211,000 - 338,000 / annual
Toast is a restaurant technology platform that helps local businesses operate more efficiently, increase sales, engage customers, and manage employees. As a District Sales Manager for the Central Jersey Shore region, you will lead a team of Territory Account Executives in driving new business growth and transforming how restaurants operate digitally.
You will report to a Regional Vice President and be responsible for hiring, building, coaching, and managing a quota-achieving sales team. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing your team's skills in discovery meetings, live product demos, and solution design tailored to restaurant needs. You'll spend significant time in the field enabling your team through walk-ins, prospecting activities, trade shows, and local business partnerships to help exceed sales quotas.
You will collaborate with peers across the organization to ensure sales commitments translate into successful customer delivery. You'll leverage Salesforce and other tools to drive team productivity, forecast deal pipelines, and analyze conversion metrics. Ultimately, you are accountable for new business growth across your assigned district.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of sales experience in sourcing and/or closing roles, plus 3+ years of leadership experience managing customer-facing teams. You should have a proven track record of success, strong motivational abilities, and entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
This is a field-based role requiring local presence in the Jersey Shore area or willingness to relocate. Nice-to-have experience includes building quota-achieving full-cycle sales teams, working in tech environments, and thriving in high-growth settings.
