As a Campaigns & Activations Specialist in Category Marketing, you will own the end-to-end development and delivery of campaigns that engage buyers and sellers, create demand, and support Catawiki's marketing and business priorities. You will work closely with the Campaigns & Activations Manager and cross-functional teams to turn opportunities into high-impact customer moments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, planning, launching and evaluating campaigns and activations across the marketplace, from recurring moments like No Reserve Days to new initiatives
- Monitoring market trends, cultural moments, category developments and competitor activity to identify new formats, themes and testing opportunities
- Defining success metrics, monitoring campaign performance, and translating results into clear learnings and recommendations to improve and scale future activations
- Partnering with CRM, Creative, Merchandising, PR, Paid Media and other channel teams to build integrated customer journeys and ensure cohesive messaging
- Driving cross-functional delivery by aligning stakeholders around clear objectives, timelines and responsibilities, resolving blockers and keeping campaigns on track
- Strengthening campaign planning, briefing, reporting and retrospective processes to continuously improve effectiveness
You are a campaign owner and strong executor who enjoys turning rough ideas into well-structured campaigns that deliver results. You are commercially minded and customer-focused, able to identify opportunities that create value for both the business and Catawiki's community. You are insight-led and data-driven, comfortable using data and customer insights to inform decisions and make clear recommendations. You understand how different marketing channels work together and can shape integrated campaign plans. You work effectively across teams, communicate clearly, and thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. You are also an early AI adopter who already uses AI tools in daily work to move faster and improve output quality.
The role is based in Amsterdam with a hybrid working model requiring 2 days per week in office. Catawiki offers a flat structure where every role has broad scope and directly impacts customers and the business. REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5 years' experience in campaign, growth, brand or digital marketing, ideally in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment
- Demonstrated ability as a campaign owner and strong executor
- Commercial mindset with customer focus
- Comfort with data and customer insights to inform decisions
- Understanding of how different marketing channels work together
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Experience with AI tools in daily work
