The Business Risk Manager (Crypto) role sits within the first line of defence, advising on crypto-related risk matters across the organization. This position bridges risk management and crypto infrastructure, ensuring Revolut's rapid growth remains operationally safe and compliant.
Key responsibilities include:
- Applying Revolut's risk management framework to crypto infrastructure and operations
- Identifying, assessing, documenting, and reviewing risks across crypto products and services
- Independently testing and validating controls to ensure effectiveness
- Developing and enhancing risk management procedures specific to crypto activities
- Designing key risk indicators (KRIs) and monitoring performance against established limits
- Managing risk incidents, documenting findings, and delivering reports to stakeholders
- Preparing management information and dashboards related to risk exposures
- Implementing business continuity and disaster recovery requirements for crypto operations
You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, compliance, and operations teams to embed risk thinking into new initiatives from inception. The role offers early involvement in strategic decisions and the opportunity to shape risk frameworks in a high-growth fintech environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in risk management within financial services or technology
- Demonstrated expertise in risk identification, monitoring, and controls (both implementation and testing)
- Solid track record of achievement in a business environment and/or at an academic level
- Ability to quickly assume responsibilities and manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Organized and methodological approach to work
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
