Sierra is building an AI platform to help businesses create better, more human customer experiences. The company was founded by Bret Taylor (former Salesforce co-CEO, Facebook CTO, Google Maps co-creator) and Clay Bavor (18-year Google veteran who led Google Labs, AR/VR, and Google Workspace). Sierra is headquartered in San Francisco with offices across Atlanta, New York, London, Paris, Madrid, Munich, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney.
As a Business Recruiter, you will own the full-cycle recruiting process for business roles across go-to-market functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success), Operations, Finance, People, and other cross-functional teams. You'll act as a strategic hiring partner to business leaders, collaborating to define role requirements, develop position profiles, and align on hiring plans and timelines.
Key responsibilities include designing and executing proactive sourcing strategies across multiple channels to attract both active and passive candidates in competitive markets; building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines through effective assessment, engagement, and closing; driving an efficient, structured, and equitable interview process while continuously improving hiring workflows and candidate experience; and tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, source effectiveness, candidate experience) to inform hiring decisions.
You should bring 5–8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth tech companies, with early-stage startup experience preferred. You'll need proven success recruiting and closing candidates across business functions, strong ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and a data-driven approach to recruiting. Experience recruiting for GTM teams in SaaS/B2B environments, familiarity with Ashby ATS, and experience scaling business teams during rapid growth are valued.
