Salary: EUR 75,000 - 85,000 / annual
Solaris is Europe's leading embedded finance platform and fully licensed German bank, pioneering Banking-as-a-Service. The company enables fintechs, digital ecosystems, and multinationals to embed accounts, cards, lending, and payments directly into their products. Solaris is transitioning into an AI-native banking platform with technology infrastructure based in Berlin and banking operations in Frankfurt.
As Business Manager - Technology, you will provide critical operational and strategic support to the Executive Director of Technology. Your responsibilities span four key areas:
**Executive Support:** You will support the development and execution of ICT/IT strategy and transformation initiatives. This includes preparing executive presentations, board materials, management reports, and strategic communications. You will drive follow-up actions from leadership meetings and ensure timely execution.
**Financial & Resource Management:** You will proactively manage technology plans, budgets, forecasts, and actuals on a monthly basis in close cooperation with the Finance team. You will track operational and capital expenditures, report on deviations to plan, and ensure proper financial change request management. You will also support financial planning, business case development, and cost optimization initiatives.
**Performance Management:** You will establish and maintain governance frameworks across the Technology organization. This includes defining and tracking KPIs, OKRs, and technology performance metrics, ensuring transparency regarding deliveries, dependencies, risks, and issues. You will coordinate consistent management reporting and executive dashboards.
**Risk, Audit & Regulatory Support:** You will support technology-related regulatory and audit activities, including coordinating responses to external and internal audits, monitoring remediation plans, and ensuring timely closure of actions.
**Stakeholder Management:** You will act as a trusted supporter to the technology leadership team, facilitate leadership meetings, and drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field
- Several years of experience working in or with technology organizations, ideally in Financial Services industry
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workplace
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
- Highly organized, structured, and proactive; able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with AI tools, thinking critically about AI outputs, and contributing to a culture of responsible AI use
