Xero is seeking a Business Growth Specialist to drive measurable revenue growth by creating new revenue streams across small and medium business accounts in Australia. In this role, you will execute high-volume outbound campaigns to engage assigned SMB accounts, introducing key product integrations and advanced financial tools such as Stripe and GoCardless to existing customers. You will manage conversion pipelines using curated account lists provided by data science teams, applying structured sales methodologies to track metrics and achieve target goals while maintaining accurate Salesforce records.
You will join a focused team dedicated to expanding small business adoption across the country, working closely alongside Marketing, Data Science, and the wider Customer Success team to turn customer insights into effective outbound campaigns. The team combines data-driven targeting with high-energy engagement to expand Xero's ecosystem footprint.
Key responsibilities include executing high-volume outreach campaigns, promoting integrated payment and financial solutions, managing conversion pipelines, applying sales methodologies to track performance metrics, and maintaining CRM records to optimize messaging and conversions.
The ideal candidate brings direct experience in sales, customer success, or business development roles with a focus on active outbound prospecting and pipeline building. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while meeting consistent activity and target metrics, with strong consultative communication skills to uncover customer needs and explain product benefits clearly. A proven track record of pipeline management and conversion metric tracking in CRM systems like Salesforce is essential. You are self-motivated in sales activity while maintaining a collaborative mindset to share best practices with your team.
This role is based in either Melbourne or Sydney with a hybrid work pattern, balancing focused work from home with regular collaborative days in the office.
