Corgi Insurance is building an AI-powered, fully automated insurance carrier to rebuild the $1T+ insurance industry from the ground up. As a Business Development Representative focused on Strategic Partnerships, you'll be responsible for building relationships with founders, owners, and senior executives across financial services. Unlike typical entry-level BD roles, you'll have direct access to C-suite decision-makers from day one, creating conversations and opportunities that most professionals at your career stage wouldn't normally encounter.
Your primary responsibility is to develop and own a pipeline of strategic partnership opportunities. You'll spend your time on outbound prospecting, relationship building, and creating meetings with high-value targets in the financial services ecosystem. The role emphasizes quality conversations over volume—some calls lead to quick wins, others develop into significant partnerships. Success is measured by your ability to earn attention, demonstrate curiosity, and create genuine opportunities rather than simply booking meetings.
This is a fast-paced, high-ownership role at a well-funded YC S24 company. You'll work in a founder-driven culture where progression is rapid; top performers move into Account Executive, Account Manager, Operations, or Leadership roles within 2–6 months. The team values hard work, resilience, and the ability to move quickly. You'll receive training and support on process, but the role requires self-motivation and a genuine drive to build something significant.
The position is in-office only in London, with 6-day-per-week attendance required. Working hours are currently US-based (2pm–10pm Monday–Friday, 11am–2pm Saturday for training), though this may shift to UK hours by end of 2026 as Corgi expands into Europe. Compensation includes a base salary of £40–50k plus an on-target earnings (OTE) of £10–15k+, with clear upside for hitting targets.
