Salary: USD 60,000 - 115,000 / annual

As a Business Development Representative, you will drive new pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social channels. You'll identify prospect needs through discovery conversations and route qualified leads to account executives, consistently achieving qualified opportunity quotas. Your responsibilities include researching district priorities, financials, tech landscape, and initiatives to personalize outreach and book meetings. You'll maintain excellent CRM hygiene, logging all leads, touchpoints, and follow-ups in real time, and collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop territory-specific prospecting plans.
You'll be effective on cold calls, using clear openers and strong hooks to create interest, and write concise, high-impact emails that resonate with educators, administrators, and district leaders. The role requires 0–2 years of outbound sales or business development experience (SaaS preferred but not required). You should be curious, persistent, and hungry to grow in a high-activity, feedback-rich environment. Strong written communication, phone confidence, empathy, and objection handling are essential. You'll be data-driven and process-oriented, tracking activity and using metrics to improve performance. Experience in or selling to the U.S. K–12 education market is a plus, as is familiarity with CRM tools, sales analytics platforms, and scheduling tools.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3–4 days per week in the NYC office. Base salary is $60K–$70K annually with total earning potential of $105K–$115K OTE. Benefits include healthcare coverage, competitive compensation, flexible PTO, hybrid work options, and professional development support.
