As a Business Development Representative based in London, you will report to a Manager of Sales Development and work as part of a dynamic sales team. Your primary responsibility is to fuel the sales pipeline by identifying, prospecting, and nurturing promising leads in assigned territories. You will serve as the initial point of contact for target accounts, using modern outbound prospecting techniques to ignite interest and educate prospects on PagerDuty's value proposition. Key responsibilities include: - Communicating PagerDuty's business value proposition using solution selling and customer-centric approaches, focusing on impact and outcomes rather than just features - Establishing and maintaining genuine connections with customers through consistent follow-up and relationship management - Achieving sales goals and maintaining a proven track record of success - Utilizing discovery processes to engage with practitioners and management at target accounts - Leveraging multiple communication channels (phone, email, video, social) and sales tools including Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Gong Engage, and Demandbase - Demonstrating strong collaboration, time management, and organizational skills to maximize efficiency You should have 1-2 years of outbound prospecting experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment. A passion for technology and adaptability are essential. Preferred qualifications include prior sales development experience, Salesforce.com proficiency, and a BA/BS degree. This is a hybrid role based at PagerDuty's Moorgate office in London, with an expectation to work in-office 1-2 times per week.
