Strella is an AI-powered platform transforming qualitative research through real-time, AI-moderated interviews and automated synthesis. The company is venture-backed and scaling rapidly, working with leading teams across product, marketing, investing, and consumer insights.
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating pipeline and booking meetings for the sales team. Your core responsibilities include meeting or exceeding monthly prospecting quotas through targeted outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone calls, events, and other channels. You'll develop and test creative initiatives to generate meetings and early-stage pipeline for Account Executives.
You'll expand Strella's market reach by researching and engaging ideal customer profiles across product, UX, insights, and strategy functions. You'll represent the company at conferences and tradeshows, driving net-new opportunities and building relationships with prospects.
Beyond pure prospecting, you'll contribute to improving the sales process and go-to-market execution. This includes maintaining clean and accurate CRM data, partnering cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine messaging and share prospect insights. You'll help shape the company's go-to-market strategy and contribute to internal projects that improve sales playbooks, prospecting efficiency, and tools. The role encourages proactive experimentation with new AI tools and workflows to drive personal efficiency.
Ideal candidates are hungry and driven with a strong track record of exceeding goals. You're humble, self-aware, and team-first, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments and have worked with minimal oversight while demonstrating strong ownership. Prior customer-facing experience in sales, support, or retail is valuable, as is BDR/SDR experience. Familiarity with research or insight-driven industries is a bonus.
You'll work directly with founders and GTM leaders in a culture of curiosity, speed, and ownership. The role offers competitive compensation with meaningful equity and career growth potential at a category-defining company.
