As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be a key driver of pipeline growth, serving as one of the first touchpoints for prospects in the manufacturing sector. Your primary responsibilities include identifying, engaging, and qualifying leads through outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social media. You will take ownership of inbound marketing leads, conducting qualification meetings to understand prospect needs and determine fit for Cognite's solutions. Key responsibilities: - Lead outbound prospecting efforts, identifying and engaging key decision-makers in target accounts through personalized multi-channel outreach - Follow up promptly on inbound marketing leads to identify qualified opportunities - Conduct qualification meetings to deeply understand customer needs and assess alignment with Cognite's offerings - Attend industry events, manage event leads, and nurture relationships through the sales funnel - Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a steady flow of high-quality leads - Gather market insights that contribute to understanding customer needs and preferences - Maintain accurate records and reporting on pipeline activity and lead status You will thrive in a collaborative environment that values knowledge sharing, idea generation, and continuous learning.
