Docker is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive growth in Australia. You'll qualify leads among existing Docker users who show potential to adopt commercial licenses, identify customer needs, and schedule discovery meetings for the sales team. This is a high-impact role where you'll own prospecting strategies, manage incoming inquiries, and build relationships that convert users into paying customers. In your first 30 days, you'll complete onboarding with Docker's sales stack (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Sales Navigator) and shadow experienced team members. You'll learn core SDR functions: prospecting, lead qualification, appointment setting, and pipeline management. By day 60, you'll independently research target accounts, build prospect lists, and execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (cold calls, email, chat, social). By day 90, you'll operate at full speed with mastery of Docker's product positioning and qualification processes. You'll partner cross-functionally to share customer feedback and contribute to team development. The role requires 1+ years of sales experience, excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in understanding developer tools and use cases. A 4-year degree or equivalent is preferred. Docker is remote-first with offices in Seattle and Paris for optional collaboration. Benefits include generous PTO, quarterly Whaleness Days, home office support ($100/month tech stipend), learning & development budget, 16 weeks paid parental leave, and equity for all full-time employees. Note: visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
