As a Business Development Representative, you will be a key member of the sales team, reporting to the BDR Manager. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to convert inbound interest into qualified opportunities and generate new pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting. Key responsibilities include: - Qualifying and developing inbound leads into new opportunities - Generating and qualifying outbound prospecting into new opportunities within your territory - Executing follow-up campaigns using phone calls, emails, social media engagement, and video meetings - Tracking all communications with prospects and customers in HubSpot - Conducting initial discovery conversations to understand business needs, use cases, and project context before scheduling demonstration calls with sales representatives - Partnering with the sales team to surface key themes and insights from prospect conversations and optimize messaging and campaign effectiveness - Supporting and attending industry events and conferences, with occasional travel You will engage with new and re-engaged marketing leads within your territory to identify potential opportunities and qualify business needs. You will also collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives on territory strategy and account prioritization, focusing heavily on outbound efforts targeting key accounts within the ICP. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and previous experience in inbound/outbound lead generation, business development, recruiting, or customer-facing roles. You should have experience working with CRM and sales engagement platforms (HubSpot preferred) and familiarity with prospecting tools such as intent data platforms and social media (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo preferred). Strong communication, interpersonal, written, and organizational skills are essential, along with excellent time management and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
