As a Business Development Representative, you will build your sales career within a world-class sales organization, reporting directly to a Business Development Manager. You'll work closely with Account Executives and Account Directors to generate pipeline and close deals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting research and prospecting to support lead generation and curate prospect lists
- Making 30 calls and sending 50 emails daily to hit a target of 13 meetings per month
- Managing calendars, external resources, and efficiency tools to coordinate meetings and outbound campaigns
- Preparing for meetings with net-new prospects and current customers through debriefs and materials
- Executing sales outreach, supporting Account Directors in meetings, and managing follow-up activity
- Maintaining data accuracy in Salesforce and other sales systems
- Managing ad hoc business development requests and key action items
You bring 1+ years of cold calling and outreach experience (technology company background preferred), a hunter sales mindset with drive to exceed targets, technical savvy with Excel, Salesforce, and Outreach, strong verbal and written communication skills, process orientation, excellent time management, attention to detail, and a desire to rapidly learn about new industries and customer pain points.
Ontra is remote-first with office hubs in NYC, Santa Barbara, and London.
