Koah is building an AI-native ad network that enables AI applications and digital publishers to monetize high-intent moments without degrading user experience. The company recently closed a Series A round ($26M total funding) backed by Theory Ventures, Forerunner, and South Park Commons.
As a Business Development Representative on the Publisher Growth team, you will be the first point of contact for founders and product leaders evaluating how their AI products can generate revenue through Koah's network. You'll work alongside senior sales professionals who close deals you initiate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Execute high-volume, personalized outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and phone, continuously refining your approach based on response data
- Identify and penetrate fast-growing AI products, developer platforms, and digital publishers, many unfamiliar with Koah
- Conduct deep research on target accounts to determine fit and locate decision-makers (founders, growth leads, monetization owners)
- Craft personalized outreach that leads with specific insights rather than templates, designed to secure meetings
- Book quality meetings and provide thorough handoffs to Publisher Growth leads
- Test and iterate on targeting, messaging, and sequencing strategies, sharing learnings with marketing and product teams
You should have 1–3 years of experience as an SDR, BDR, or in a similar customer-facing sales role. Strong multi-channel outbound experience is essential, along with demonstrated ability to write compelling short-form copy that feels personal and authentic. You must be highly organized, able to manage dozens of concurrent conversations without losing track, and capable of quickly learning technical products in an early-stage environment. Clear communication skills and the ability to build credibility with founders and senior operators are critical.
Ideal candidates may also have experience selling to developers or technical buyers, or background in ad tech, media, or marketplace businesses. This is a fully in-person role based in Koah's New York City office. The company values attitude, work ethic, and learning velocity over resume credentials. Success in this role offers a clear path into closing and senior go-to-market positions as the network scales.
