Klaviyo is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their growing Sydney team. In this role, you'll be responsible for generating qualified opportunities for the sales team through proactive prospecting and cold outreach to e-commerce brands. You'll research and reach out to potential customers, build relationships, identify buyer needs, and position Klaviyo's value proposition to route leads to Account Executives. Key responsibilities include: - Generate qualified pipeline through rigorous qualification and multi-channel outreach (calls, emails, social) - Build prospective relationships with e-commerce brands and help them understand Klaviyo's growth potential - Learn to effectively identify buyer needs and position Klaviyo's solutions - Stay organized and consistent across outreach efforts - Demonstrate grit and resilience in the face of rejection - Reflect company values of accountability, effort, and teamwork - Contribute to process improvements and team culture - Leverage AI tools to build smarter workflows and systems You should be driven to launch a career in tech sales with ambitions to grow into Account Executive roles. Klaviyo is building its APAC presence with a Sydney-based team that started in 2022. The company has expanded go-to-market teams in sales, customer success, partnerships, marketing, recruiting, and product support.
