Greenboard is building an AI-native compliance operating system for regulated financial institutions, RIAs, fintechs, private funds, and hedge funds. The company replaces fragmented legacy compliance tools with a unified platform that automates workflows, centralizes data, and reduces regulatory risk. Founded by engineers from Amazon, Google, and unicorn startups, Greenboard is backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, and Base10, having raised over $20M.
As a Business Development Representative, you'll be the tip of the spear for Greenboard's go-to-market motion, generating qualified pipeline and establishing initial conversations with financial institutions and regulated businesses. This is a high-ownership, ground-floor opportunity to help build Greenboard's West Coast presence from the new Phoenix office.
Key responsibilities include: generating qualified pipeline through high-volume, high-quality outbound across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise accounts using cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and strategic sequences; researching target accounts and personas to craft personalized outreach to finance, compliance, legal, and operations leaders; running initial discovery conversations to identify pain points, qualify fit, and book meetings for Account Executives; helping establish Greenboard's West Coast culture and cadence as an early team member; partnering with Account Executives and leadership to refine targeting and messaging; and shaping the GTM motion by testing outbound plays, maintaining CRM data, and feeding market insights back to the business.
You'll thrive in ambiguity, be resilient and energized by outbound prospecting, communicate clearly with executives and operators, and be naturally curious about financial infrastructure and operational risk. The role requires 1–3 years of customer-facing, sales, or business development experience (fintech, compliance, or B2B SaaS experience is a plus), proven ability to generate meetings independently through outbound prospecting, comfort with high-volume cold calling and email, strong CRM hygiene, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent. You must be based in or willing to relocate to the greater Phoenix area.
