Candescent is a forward-thinking technology company transforming how financial institutions deliver intelligent banking experiences. The company unites digital banking, account opening, and branch solutions through an experience-led, intelligence-driven approach that combines human-centered design with data, automation, and cloud-based innovation.
We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Growth Marketing organization, reporting to the Director of Business Development. This is a territory-based, expansion-focused role responsible for generating qualified expansion and new logo pipeline through targeted, coordinated outreach across assigned territories covering banks and credit unions across the U.S.
You will execute expansion-focused outreach programs aligned to Growth Marketing priorities, respond and qualify website inquiries for new logo interest, and generate opportunities through proactive multi-channel engagement. You'll research and prioritize accounts to identify whitespace, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities, educate customers on Candescent's partnerships and platform enhancements, and book qualified meetings with clear handoffs to sales partners.
Key responsibilities include partnering closely with Field Marketing and Campaign teams to support orchestrated go-to-market motions, maintaining accurate activity and pipeline tracking in Salesforce, and participating in ongoing enablement and playbook development. You'll leverage phone, email, LinkedIn, and digital outreach tools to create meaningful conversations that surface opportunity and move accounts forward.
Success is measured by consistent delivery of qualified opportunities, achieving pipeline and booking targets, strong coverage across assigned territories, effective campaign execution, and clear progression in sales acumen and product knowledge. You'll be supported by strong enablement, clear prioritization, and close partnership with Sales, Field Marketing, and Campaign teams.
The ideal candidate is curious, coachable, and motivated by impact—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and sees the BDR role as a launchpad for long-term growth in sales or growth marketing.
