This Business Development Representative role is a hybrid of individual contribution and process innovation. You'll carry a personal pipeline generation target while also working with the broader sales and marketing team to reinvent how Archive prospects using AI and modern sales tools.
Key responsibilities include: owning a personal pipeline target and being jointly accountable for net new opportunity creation; researching and opening relationships with an elite list of household-name brands (approximately 30 accounts per quarter, worked with depth); redesigning the prospecting motion using AI and LLMs to improve sourcing, research, personalization, and sequencing; owning the sales tech stack and making decisions on tools; partnering across the go-to-market team to refine the end-to-end sales process; and helping shape sales norms as the team grows.
You should have 1-2+ years of sales development or outbound experience and a track record as a top-performing BDR/SDR. Strong writing skills are essential—you take pride in crafting high-converting sales emails and campaigns. You're AI-native, thinking in systems about how AI can amplify a small team's output. You're proficient with HubSpot, Apollo, and similar sales automation tools, and you believe in continuous process improvement. You're organized, data-driven, competitive, and comfortable owning a number. Ideally you're based in Austin and excited to be in the coworking space 2+ days per week, though the role is also available fully remote.
Bonus skills include events/networking experience and writing experience (blogs, content). You care about sustainability and the power of secondhand shopping to transform retail.
