Mollie is a European payments and money management platform serving 250,000+ businesses across 14+ locations. This role offers the opportunity to lead Mollie's next growth phase in the Swedish market. You will own business development for the Swedish market with a focus on mid-market and enterprise customers. This is a hands-on, outbound-driven position where you'll build and manage your own sales pipeline, identify new business opportunities, and drive customer acquisition. You'll work proactively to generate opportunities rather than relying on inbound demand, and you'll be expected to turn pipeline into signed, live customers. Beyond sales execution, you'll bring market intelligence back to the broader Mollie organization, identifying repeatable approaches to winning customers in Sweden and sharing feedback to help the company scale effectively in the region. Mollie operates in small, autonomous teams with real ownership. You'll have the tools, processes, and balanced work environment to do work you're proud of. The company invests in personal growth through regular feedback, performance reviews, transparent salary reviews, and internal mobility opportunities. The company emphasizes AI-first thinking and "Always Be Shipping" philosophy, using AI to move faster and make smarter decisions across all teams. REQUIREMENTS: - 4–5 years of relevant sales or business development experience - Strong outbound track record with proven ability to generate your own pipeline (hunter mentality) - Experience in high-activity sales environments managing multiple opportunities simultaneously - Background in technology, SaaS, e-commerce, ad tech, marketing, or similar technical domain - Independence and proactive mindset to operate in an established but still-developing market - Fluency in Swedish (required) - Additional Nordic language (bonus) - Previous payments experience not required; strong sales fundamentals and ability to understand technical products are prioritized
