Teya is a Series C fintech platform built to serve local businesses across Europe—cafés, restaurants, salons, shops, and entrepreneurs. As a Business Development Manager based in Osijek, you will be the on-the-ground ambassador driving Teya's local presence and sales growth. Your core responsibilities include building and nurturing relationships with local SMBs, proactively generating leads, conducting field visits and meetings, and closing new customer acquisitions. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, managing your pipeline using Teya's systems, and ensuring a smooth customer experience that reflects the company's commitment to genuine hospitality alongside performance.
You'll stay organized, track metrics, follow up systematically, and continuously learn about local market dynamics and industry trends to refine your approach. The role is field-based and requires self-motivation, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust quickly with business owners.
Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of sales experience, preferably in services, telecom, SaaS, or fintech. You have a proven track record of hitting targets, retaining customer relationships, and working independently. You're tech-savvy, goal-driven, fluent in Croatian with confident English, and hold a valid driver's license. A company car is provided.
