ApplyBoard is seeking a Business Development Associate to drive growth within its recruitment partner ecosystem. The role focuses on building and nurturing relationships with educational agents and institutions, serving as a strategic advisor throughout the partnership lifecycle—from onboarding through expansion.
Key responsibilities include acting as an ApplyBoard ambassador to educational agents, international institutions, and prospective students; developing deep product knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions; executing strategies to increase international student enrollment across diverse regions; building and maintaining strong agent relationships through negotiation, training, and consistent engagement; guiding agents to improve application quality and volume while maintaining ApplyBoard standards; and expanding the company's international presence to broaden student access to quality education.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, leveraging data-driven insights to drive performance conversations and expand wallet share. Success means turning partnerships into scalable revenue engines with tangible, measurable impact.
Required qualifications include a minimum of 2 years in customer service, sales, business development, or related roles; fluency in English; exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong task prioritization and accuracy in data management; excellent problem-solving abilities in ambiguous situations; and autonomous, proactive work style. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Education; fluency in additional languages; experience with educational consultants and postsecondary institutions; and proficiency with CRM systems and digital communication tools.
