You will serve as the voice of Pennylane's customers in Germany, driving their success on the platform. Your core responsibilities include:
• Customer Onboarding: Lead the complete onboarding of new customers—both SMEs and accounting firms—onto the Pennylane platform, ensuring rapid time-to-value and adoption.
• Account Management: Be the primary point of contact for existing customers, building trusted relationships, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring optimal platform utilization to meet their business goals.
• Proactive Engagement: Conduct regular health checks and business reviews to maximize satisfaction, retention, and prevent churn.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the German sales team and leadership to optimize processes, gather product feedback, and contribute to Pennylane's strategic growth in the German market.
• Product Expertise: Develop deep expertise in Germany's financial and accounting landscape and share this knowledge with customers.
You bring 2–5 years of experience in accounting, account management, or customer-facing roles, ideally in accounting firms, SaaS, or fintech. You hold a qualification as a Steuerfachangestellter, Steuerfachwirt, Steuerberater, or relevant finance degree. You have strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to explain complex topics simply. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and ready to shape processes from the ground up. You are willing to travel monthly within Germany for customer onboarding and to Paris for HQ onboarding. You are fluent in German (C2 or native) and English (fluent for international collaboration).
