Salary: USD 126,500 - 206,800 / annual
DocuSign is seeking a Brand Strategist & Naming to serve as a key architect of the brand's long-term evolution. Reporting to the VP of Brand & Creative, you will bridge high-level market intelligence with world-class execution, shepherding DocuSign's evolution from category leader to category platform owner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own day-to-day activity across the company for net-new product, feature, packaging, and naming initiatives as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI)
- Govern naming and nomenclature across products and experiences, maintaining documentation and ensuring alignment with customer-first systems
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product, Pricing, Packaging, and Customer Success teams to reduce messaging fragmentation and enforce naming guidelines
- Support rollout and maintenance of multi-year brand and category roadmap, including frameworks for positioning, architecture, and messaging
- Maintain baseline measurements for category and brand share of voice (SOV), compiling insights from tracking infrastructure
- Assist in documentation and coordination for AI Surface Strategy initiatives across strategic AI partners
- Advocate for verbal brand identity across the organization; review cross-functional assets and partner with copywriters on tone alignment
- Manage brand health and sentiment research projects, transforming raw data into clear insights for stakeholders
- Act as bridge between strategy decks and creative execution, writing briefs for the brand team
You bring 8+ years of brand strategy, marketing coordination, or account planning experience (in-house or agency). A BA/BS degree or equivalent is required. Preferred qualifications include B2B or SaaS environment experience, strong analytical skills with data tools and research reports, excellent communication and storytelling abilities, and a collaborative mindset for cross-functional project organization.
This is a hybrid role requiring minimum 2 days per week in-office, with access to offices in San Francisco, Chicago, or Seattle.
