Jerry is a fintech platform that simplifies car ownership for 5M+ users by consolidating insurance, repairs, diagnostics, and marketplace services into a single app. The company is profitable, venture-backed ($240M+), and expanding into home, motorcycle, and RV insurance.
This role focuses on building Jerry's authentic presence in communities where car owners actually congregate—Reddit, Quora, TikTok, and YouTube—rather than traditional corporate channels. The specialist will own organic community growth, develop platform-specific engagement strategies, and foster trusted subreddits.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and scaling Jerry's organic presence across Reddit, Quora, YouTube, and TikTok
- Developing a playbook for authentic community participation: when to post, reply, or stay silent
- Growing Jerry's subreddits into active, trusted communities
- Creating a scalable content and engagement strategy that maintains authenticity while leveraging AI
- Collaborating with Growth and Content teams for cross-channel consistency
- Measuring impact through sentiment analysis, share of voice, referral traffic, and LLM citation tracking
The ideal candidate is a platform native who dislikes corporate-speak and writes naturally across Reddit, TikTok, and Quora. You bring 3+ years of community management or organic social experience, ideally in fintech, insurtech, or regulated consumer categories. You're a strategic operator who builds systems (understanding SEO and LLM source citation), can make complex or stressful topics feel human and authentic, and play the long game for organic trust over quick PR wins.
