Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. The company integrates hardware, software, AI, operations, and manufacturing to deploy intelligent systems into real environments at scale.
As Brand Director, you will own how the world experiences Atoms and its portfolio of products (Otter, CK, Picnic, Lab37), which serve restaurant operators and enterprise buyers. You'll set brand strategy, build the narrative and visual system, and ensure every touchpoint reflects one coherent company with a clear point of view.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and own brand strategy and positioning across the portfolio, defining how the Atoms narrative connects to each product brand
- Create and maintain a comprehensive brand positioning and messaging framework for consistency across web, product, sales, lifecycle, social, events, and PR
- Build and steward the brand system—voice, visual identity, messaging architecture, and guidelines—to maintain coherence as the company scales
- Lead brand campaigns end-to-end (concept through measurement) that build awareness and preference with both SMB operators and enterprise buyers
- Design reputation and category-leadership strategies that establish Atoms as the trusted name in restaurant technology
- Partner with Communications to create thought-leadership platforms positioning Atoms leaders as authoritative voices in restaurant tech, robotics, and operator software
- Develop co-marketing and strategic brand partnerships that enhance credibility and extend reach
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Growth, and Performance teams to ensure brand coherence across paid, web, lifecycle, sales, and events
- Manage creative resourcing—in-house designers and writers plus external agencies—and raise the creative bar across the organization
- Develop systems and templates (brand guidelines, asset libraries) that enable a lean team to produce on-brand work quickly
- Define success metrics for brand influence and build measurement frameworks connecting brand investment to pipeline and growth
- Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and audience sentiment to inform strategic decisions
- Hire, manage, and mentor a growing team of brand and creative professionals
You should have 10+ years in brand marketing with significant experience at high-growth companies. You'll demonstrate a proven track record driving brand from strategy through execution, with specific campaigns, identity systems, or rebrands you can reference. You combine sharp creative judgment with commercial discipline, tying brand investment to business outcomes. You excel at storytelling that resonates with both busy operators and enterprise decision-makers, and you have experience building and managing creative teams and agency relationships.
