Forgepoint is building AI workers for back-office departments in US manufacturing—helping estimators, procurement teams, and accountants move faster by automating quoting, purchasing, invoicing, and sales coordination. The company is backed by a16z Speedrun and angels from Brex, Xwing, and Betterment.
You will be Forgepoint's first dedicated marketer, owning brand and content end-to-end. This is a true 0→1 role where you set direction and execute the work yourself. You'll ship LinkedIn posts, blog articles, website copy, launch campaigns, videos, social posts, and sales collateral that tell Forgepoint's story and your customers' stories.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and evolve the Forgepoint voice and category narrative across AI, software, and American manufacturing
- Create and publish exceptional content across LinkedIn, blogs, website, video, email, launches, and emerging channels
- Turn customer conversations, shop-floor visits, product releases, and measurable outcomes into credible stories, case studies, and campaigns
- Own the editorial calendar and distribution engine; repurpose strong ideas across formats and measure what drives attention and pipeline
- Build sales collateral including decks, one-pagers, customer stories, launch assets, and clear product messaging
- Work directly with founders, sales, and product; use AI, design, and video tools to move from idea to polished output quickly
You'll work in person five days a week in the NYC office, collaborating with founders and the team on high-bandwidth projects. The role demands a maker mindset—you'll learn the manufacturing world deeply enough to write about it credibly, move fast, and leverage AI tools to punch above your weight.
Requirements:
- Strong writer who can maintain a distinct, credible voice across formats
- Ship high-quality content fast and independently, from idea to published
- Sense for brand and design; care about how work looks and reads
- Comfortable owning the whole funnel: content, brand, and systems
- Founder and growth mindset; obsessive about using AI tooling to move faster
- Excited to work in person 5 days/week in NYC office
Bonus:
- B2B or startup marketing experience
- Experience growing a brand, audience, or newsletter from scratch
- Basic design skills (Figma, Canva, or similar)
- Familiarity with industrial, technical, or "unsexy" audiences
