Bastion provides regulated infrastructure for holding, moving, and issuing stablecoins. The platform combines custodial wallets, global payment orchestration, and stablecoin issuance, serving Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, fintechs, and stablecoin-native payments companies. You will own Bastion's brand positioning, messaging, visual identity, press relations, executive visibility, industry relationships, and targeted campaigns. Working directly with the CEO, you will build market presence that matches the strength of the business—moving Bastion from being known mainly within its existing network to being recognized by key institutions, partners, reporters, and talent. Key responsibilities include: - Defining target audiences, messaging frameworks, and channel priorities - Auditing and improving Bastion's website, content, press, events, and overall market presence - Developing scalable content and communications workflows leveraging AI tooling and contractors - Building an active pipeline of press, events, and speaking opportunities - Launching targeted campaigns for priority customer segments - Establishing a steady cadence of company news, content, executive communications, and market commentary - Securing press coverage and third-party visibility - Creating a feedback loop with the Commercial team to track messaging impact on qualified inbound leads and pipeline influence - Operating independently with high quality standards in a space sensitive to AI quality Key challenges: building brand awareness from scratch with no existing playbook, creating a market presence breakthrough to reach diverse buyer personas (Fortune 500, financial institutions, fintechs), earning press in a noisy fintech/crypto space, and operating as a team of one with the impact of a team of five. Success metrics in first 60 days: ship impactful work in week one, define direction and build momentum by day 30, and establish independent operations with measurable influence on qualified inbound leads and pipeline by day 60. Requirements: Fintech or financial services experience is a strong advantage. The role requires understanding of how institutions make decisions, ability to move quickly and contribute in the first week, and judgment in leveraging AI tooling and contractors while maintaining high quality standards in a regulated financial services context.
