Hinge Health is seeking a BDR Team Lead to join the Commercial Operations team and lead the engine powering the HingeSelect pipeline. This is a hands-on leadership role managing a growing team of Business Development Representatives while carrying a small personal quota.
In the first 3 months, you'll build trust with your BDRs, Regional Vice Presidents of Sales, and cross-functional partners. You'll establish regular 1:1s, conduct call and email reviews, and provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback. You'll deeply understand existing workflows, cadences, and playbooks while reinforcing core expectations around activity pacing, lead follow-up, and CRM hygiene.
By month 6, you'll own the day-to-day performance rhythm for the team, monitoring and improving key metrics such as activities, meetings, conversion rates, SLA adherence, and Salesforce data cleanliness. You'll lead onboarding and ramp for new BDRs through structured training, shadowing, and ongoing coaching. You'll partner with RVPs and marketing to align on target accounts, outreach strategies, and discovery-call preparation to increase meeting quality and downstream pipeline impact.
Long-term, you'll consistently contribute to both your personal quota and team quota by modeling strong prospecting and opportunity creation. You'll identify and drive process improvements across cadences, qualification, documentation, and tooling (Salesforce, sales engagement platforms, intent tools). You'll act as a culture carrier and coach for the BDR organization, reinforcing Hinge Health's cultural values.
You're a player-coach who has personally succeeded in B2B sales or sales development and is excited to enable others while carrying individual quota. You're a data-driven operator who diagnoses performance and guides coaching conversations. You're a clear communicator comfortable giving direct, actionable feedback. You're highly organized, tenacious, and resilient, thriving in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 4+ years in business development, sales development, sales support, or quota-carrying commercial roles; experience with Salesforce and modern sales engagement tools (Outreach, Salesloft, or similar).
Preferred: 1+ year coaching, mentoring, or leading in sales/BD; experience tracking team performance metrics; familiarity with 6sense, Highspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or AI-enabled prospecting; experience with complex multi-threaded deals; healthcare provider prospecting experience.
