Collective is seeking a BDR Manager to build and scale a high-performing prospecting team that fuels their rapid 1-3 day sales cycle. You'll manage a team of Business Development Representatives, turning a large volume of inbound leads into qualified pipeline for Account Executives. Key responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding BDRs with a scalable playbook for fast ramp times; owning inbound lead response time, qualification rates, and speed-to-lead as core KPIs; building and refining outbound/inbound prospecting workflows, scripts, and sequences; setting and managing weekly/monthly/quarterly pipeline targets with conversion forecasting; coaching reps daily through call shadowing, reviews, and 1:1s to improve talk tracks and objection handling; partnering with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to optimize lead routing and handoff processes; using CRM and sales engagement data (Salesforce, Nooks, Metabase) to identify bottlenecks and optimize tactics; and building a strong, metrics-driven team culture in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You'll need 2+ years leading a BDR/SDR team in a fast-paced environment with short sales cycles, proven success as a top-performing individual contributor BDR/SDR, experience scaling teams from scratch with rapid ramp times, deep expertise in inbound lead triage and qualification, comfort living in CRM dashboards and data, ability to coach reps on the fly, and a scrappy, competitive mindset. The role requires iterating quickly—testing, measuring, and adjusting tactics in near real-time given the compressed sales cycle. Collective is a fintech platform empowering self-employed professionals with business incorporation, accounting, bookkeeping, tax services, and community access. Backed by General Catalyst, Sound Ventures, QED Investors, Google's Gradient Ventures, and others. Featured in Forbes, Business Insider, Bloomberg, TechCrunch, and more.
