Dama Financial by LeafLink is seeking a Banking Relationship Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for cannabis industry clients. You will manage a portfolio of 100–200 licensed cannabis businesses—including cultivators, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and ancillary operators—fostering strong relationships while supporting their banking and financial service needs.
In this role, you'll act as a trusted advisor to cannabis operators, helping them navigate banking solutions, maintain compliance, and maximize the value of Dama's products and services. You'll maintain awareness of evolving regulatory requirements and communicate relevant changes to clients.
You'll also identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand adoption of Dama Financial products and services, support client retention initiatives, monitor industry trends and competitive activity, and participate in industry events and trade shows to strengthen relationships and support business development.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Communications, or related field (or equivalent professional experience), 2–5 years in relationship management, commercial banking, financial services, account management, customer success, or B2B client services. You must have strong client relationship and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, the ability to manage multiple relationships in a fast-paced regulated environment, and experience with CRM platforms and business reporting tools.
Preferred experience includes serving cannabis businesses or other regulated industries, fintech, payments, commercial banking, treasury management, or compliance-focused financial services; knowledge of cannabis industry regulations and operational workflows; familiarity with BSA/AML, KYC, CDD, and EDD requirements; and understanding of cash-intensive business operations.
