This is a managerial role within the Ratings Research & Services (RRS) division, based in Gurugram as part of a Global Capability Center. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of analytical professionals, overseeing credit analysis, financial research, and ratings support functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing managers and individual contributors across data, ratings, research, and analytical teams
- Overseeing all aspects of data intake, normalization, and processing with emphasis on quality and consistency
- Ensuring timely, high-quality execution of complex business-as-usual tasks including data management, research, analytics, and credit estimates
- Serving as primary point of accountability for team performance and deliverables
- Conducting quality reviews, providing feedback and training, and maintaining global standards
- Managing workload allocation and project pipelines to ensure on-time delivery
- Driving process improvements and managing team transitions
- Leading or contributing to cross-functional projects such as methodology updates and RRS Global Capability Center transitions
- Attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing junior analytical talent
- Maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, and team leadership. Technical expertise in financial methodologies, data analysis, and credit research is essential. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly advanced Excel), strong organizational and multitasking capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects independently.
Candidates should demonstrate experience mentoring and managing diverse teams with a collaborative approach. Fluency in English with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication is required. A foundational understanding of AI concepts (generative AI and agentic AI systems) with enthusiasm for exploring how AI tools can improve processes and drive efficiency is valued. Interest in responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical considerations, is a plus.
Preferred qualifications include a degree in Finance, Economics, or Business, with CA, CFA, or FRM certifications preferred.
