BloomReach is seeking an Associate Security Analyst to join the GIST (Global Information Security & Technology) team as part of a globally distributed 24/7 Security Operations Center. The role focuses on protecting BloomReach's e-commerce platform and infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities, with impact across 1,400+ global brands and hundreds of millions of online users.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing security, system, application, and infrastructure logs to detect events, configuration irregularities, and potential incidents. You will leverage security tools and custom dashboards to identify anomalous activities, monitor cloud infrastructure for security events, and track the threat and vulnerability landscape. The role involves collaborating with application security teams, product specialists, GRC, and legal teams on active incidents and investigations, participating in major incident calls, and documenting incident reports.
You will document and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintain use cases and playbooks, manage security-related requests, and own shift responsibilities with a growth mindset. The position requires hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR tools, as well as exposure to CSPM platforms (SentinelOne, Falcon Horizon, Wiz, Sysdig, Prisma Cloud, MS Defender). Knowledge of AWS or GCP is mandatory, along with understanding of vulnerability assessment and management tools.
Required qualifications include 2+ years in a 24/7 Security Operations team or equivalent cybersecurity degree/specialization with relevant project experience in SaaS platform security, SecOps, API/container security, threat intelligence, or vulnerability management. Familiarity with NIST framework, OSINT standards, and MITRE ATT&CK framework is advantageous; beginner-level understanding is mandatory. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with excellent English communication abilities. The role requires mandatory 24/7 rotation shift work including weekends.
