Lendable is a UK unicorn fintech company (800+ employees, profitable since 2017, backed by Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs) rebuilding consumer finance products—loans, credit cards, and car finance—with modern technology. The company operates in the UK and US, targeting trillions in financial products currently held by legacy banking systems. You will join the Cards team as an Associate Product Manager focused on building and experimentation rather than traditional roadmap management. This is a role for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to how fintech products are actually built and scaled. Your work will span two main areas: 1. Running fast experiments: Testing messaging, offers, incentives, and acquisition features to drive engagement and growth. You'll run manual experiments to validate ideas before engineering commits resources, questioning how things currently work and finding simpler or faster approaches. 2. Supporting product, tooling, and AI initiatives: Maintaining and improving the team's use of AI tools (Claude, Cursor, etc.), supporting AI customer support tool development, and helping Finance and Capital Markets teams. You'll challenge existing processes and help the team operate more efficiently. Key responsibilities include breaking down problems with the Cards team, testing hypotheses quickly, and owning meaningful projects early in your career. You'll work closely with senior team members and have real autonomy to drive your agenda. You'll gain exposure to consumer lending mechanics, fintech product development and scaling, experimentation and growth methodologies, AI tooling and automation in production, and the operational side of running a fintech company. Lendable offers hybrid working (three days in-office weekly at select locations), private health coverage, retirement savings plans, employee referral bonuses, complimentary lunches on in-office days, and cycle-to-work/EV salary sacrifice schemes. REQUIREMENTS: - 1–3 years of experience in strategy, analytics, consulting, or product - Typically your second job (not a graduate/entry-level role) - Strong interest in technology, fintech, and startups - Curious about AI and new tools - Interested in building products or starting companies in the future - Think from first principles rather than accepting status quo - Ask good questions and challenge assumptions - Comfortable solving messy problems - Work well with data and numbers - Like testing ideas quickly - Thrive in fast-moving environments with autonomy - Take ownership and drive results
