Profound is a marketing platform built for the AI search era, helping brands understand and win in a world where AI models like ChatGPT and Perplexity are primary customer touchpoints. The company has achieved $1B valuation in 18 months with 100x revenue growth, serving 15% of Fortune 500 companies including Walmart, Wayfair, and U.S. Bank, backed by top-tier VCs including Sequoia and Kleiner Perkins. You'll join as Associate People Partner in the London office, providing broad-ranging HR support with a primary focus on the Go-to-Market function (Sales and Customer Success). This is a generalist role offering hands-on exposure across the full employee lifecycle while helping build the People function in the UK from the ground up. Key responsibilities include: serving as day-to-day HR point of contact for employees and managers on onboarding, policy, benefits, and performance management; supporting GTM managers and employees with specialized knowledge of commission structures and quota-carrying roles; managing employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion; coordinating core HR cycles including performance reviews, compensation planning, and engagement surveys; maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems; supporting hiring and onboarding logistics; ensuring UK employment law compliance; coaching managers on foundational people management skills; and partnering with People Partners across the company to maintain consistent programs and policies. You'll contribute to building a strong, connected culture in the London office as the team scales. The role requires 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally at a fast-paced or high-growth tech company with exposure to GTM functions. You'll need solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent judgment with sensitive matters, strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities, comfort with HR systems and people data/reporting, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
