Grafana Labs is seeking an Observability Architect to serve as the primary technical point of contact and strategic partner for a portfolio of enterprise customers. This is a hands-on, high-impact role combining deep technical expertise with customer success leadership.
You will own the long-term technical success of assigned customers, architecting and guiding implementation of complex observability solutions across modern infrastructure and application environments. You'll design each customer's observability maturity journey, conduct technical discovery and onboarding, provide expert-level troubleshooting, and deliver regular health checks and reviews.
Key responsibilities include: serving as the technical voice for customers internally, shaping product feedback and roadmap priorities with Engineering and Product teams; advising clients on best practices and strategies to achieve business goals; collaborating on technical roadmaps; identifying optimization and expansion opportunities; conducting training sessions and developing technical documentation; participating in root cause analysis; and driving adoption of Grafana's product suite to maximize customer ROI.
You'll work closely with Engagement Managers and Solutions Architects, building strategic relationships with customer engineers, SREs, and architects. This role requires deep systems thinking, architecture design expertise, and the ability to guide customers through complex technical challenges with authority and clarity. You'll represent the technical voice of the customer base, directly influencing product direction and company priorities.
