Salary: USD 100,000 - 130,000 / annual
Tailor is a pioneer in Headless ERP technology, building a platform that empowers companies to create internal workflows tailored to their unique needs with a developer-first approach.
You will own the day-to-day execution of live client implementations as the Associate Forward-Deployed Product Manager. You are the first line of communication with clients and the person responsible for keeping projects moving forward. Your core responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day client communications, handling questions, managing escalations, and keeping clients informed and unblocked
- Running project execution: coordinating with the internal development team, maintaining project management tools (GitHub Projects, Jira), and keeping status, documentation, and release notes current
- Analyzing client data to surface gaps, discrepancies, and risks; supporting the Senior PM and engineering in solution architecture and functional gap analysis
- Validating every release before client delivery, coordinating client testing and sign-off, and owning go-live readiness
- Creating and delivering training materials to ensure client teams can operate the platform independently
- Developing deep platform knowledge and translating client feedback into product insights that inform the roadmap
You will work collaboratively with the Account Manager and Senior PM (Forward-Deployed Product Manager), who own the commercial relationship and solution design; you own execution. This is a development role designed to grow into the Senior PM role, with progression based on performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–5 years of experience in product management at big tech or startups, and/or management consulting experience (management consulting strongly preferred)
- Proven customer-facing experience, comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Sharp, structured thinker comfortable with ambiguity and eager to learn and grow
- Ownership mindset with appetite for operational and technical detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with data analysis tools and AI-driven workflows
NICE TO HAVE:
- Side projects or portfolio demonstrating hands-on building and problem-solving approach
- Exposure to ecommerce or physical-product operations (order, inventory, purchasing, fulfillment, accounting workflows)
- Familiarity with ERP, 3PL, or commerce platforms
- Prior experience onboarding customers onto software
