Moody's is seeking an Associate Director to lead sales growth for Credit Research, Ratings & Analytics solutions across the German financial services market. This role combines strategic account management with new business development, requiring you to drive revenue through cross-sell, upsell, and new client acquisition within an assigned portfolio of financial services clients.
Key responsibilities include managing the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and needs analysis through contract negotiation and closure. You will collaborate closely with Relationship Managers, Product Strategists, and Marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions that address complex client challenges. The role requires developing deep understanding of client organizations and internal processes to guide them toward appropriate products and licensing solutions.
You will represent Moody's at industry events, maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting, and meet established revenue targets while building long-term client relationships. The position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with up to 50% travel for face-to-face client engagement, supported by a hybrid working model.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field, proven consultative selling capability with ability to influence key decision-makers, and strong presentation and negotiation skills. German language proficiency (verbal and written) is a strong plus for engaging with the German market. The ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency in AI concepts with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows, along with awareness of AI risk management and commitment to responsible AI use.
