BillionToOne is a publicly traded Nasdaq company transforming healthcare through precision diagnostics in prenatal and cancer care. As Associate Director of Events Marketing, you will lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of the company's event marketing function across national prenatal conferences, regional programs, and strategic experiential activations.
You will own the long-term vision for the event portfolio, investment strategy, pipeline generation, organizational design, and operational excellence. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role that transforms event marketing into a scalable growth engine for the business.
Key responsibilities include:
**Event Strategy & Portfolio Leadership:** Develop and own the long-term vision for prenatal event marketing, ensuring national conferences, regional programs, and experiential marketing align to drive commercial objectives. Create the annual event marketing strategy and investment plan with data-driven recommendations on where to invest, expand, optimize, or reduce spend. Define audience segmentation, event portfolio strategy, and integrated marketing approaches that maximize pipeline generation and customer engagement. Partner with executive leadership, sales, product marketing, and medical affairs to ensure event marketing supports company priorities.
**Revenue Growth & Business Performance:** Own the event marketing function's contribution to pipeline generation, revenue, and customer acquisition. Establish KPIs and performance frameworks tied to pipeline, conversion, attendance quality, ROI, and business impact. Analyze performance across the event portfolio to optimize resource allocation and guide future strategy. Present executive-level business reviews that influence marketing investment and commercial planning.
**Organizational Leadership & Team Development:** Lead and develop the prenatal events team, including full-time members, contractors, agencies, and external partners. Build organizational capability through clear delegation models, standardized operating procedures, and scalable systems. Foster a culture of accountability, proactive communication, and continuous improvement. Develop talent, mentor team members, and create opportunities for professional growth.
**Cross-Functional Leadership & Operational Excellence:** Establish communication cadences, planning frameworks, and governance processes that create clarity and transparency. Ensure consistent execution quality across all event initiatives by building scalable operating models. Proactively identify organizational risks and resolve cross-functional challenges. Continuously improve operational processes, technology, and vendor partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a strategic marketing leader with deep expertise in event marketing, demand generation, and organizational leadership. You are equally comfortable shaping executive strategy, analyzing business performance, coaching teams, and building processes that allow organizations to scale. Reports directly to the VP of Marketing.
