DTX Pharma (a Novartis Company) is seeking an Associate Director of HCP Marketing Strategy to lead market preparation and launch readiness for a neuromuscular disease therapeutic. You will develop and execute integrated healthcare professional (HCP) marketing strategies that drive disease awareness, diagnosis, referral pathways, and treatment readiness across the neuromuscular care continuum.
Key responsibilities include partnering with the Director of Marketing Strategy to create branded launch initiatives, promotional campaigns, digital engagement, and omnichannel activation strategies. You will lead HCP disease-state education efforts focused on FSHD (Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy), diagnostic delays, genetic confirmation, and specialist referral pathways. The role involves identifying and engaging key opinion leaders (KOLs), neuromuscular centers of excellence, and early adopters through advisory boards, expert sessions, and insight forums.
You will conduct HCP segmentation and journey mapping to identify belief barriers, knowledge gaps, and priority interventions across neurologists, neuromuscular specialists, and referral audiences. Translating clinical, genetic, and epidemiologic insights into clear HCP value narratives and behavior-change strategies is central to the position. Congress strategy execution, field force enablement, and cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Access, Regulatory, and Global teams are ongoing responsibilities.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (Master's or MBA preferred) and minimum 5 years of commercial marketing experience in rare disease, specialty, neuroscience, or complex chronic conditions. You need 3+ years leveraging data and analytics for personalization, demonstrated expertise in HCP disease-state education, speaker programs, KOL engagement, and congress strategies. Pre-launch and launch experience in a compliant pharmaceutical environment is essential. Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to collaborate with Product, Communications, Legal, Regulatory, and Global teams required.
This hybrid role is based in East Hanover, NJ or Cambridge, MA with up to 20% domestic/international travel. Relocation is not provided; only local candidates will be considered.
