Mirum Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company focused on rare disease treatments, seeks an Associate Director of Field Sales Training for the East Zone. This role is responsible for driving field force capability development through coaching, training reinforcement, and execution of commercial initiatives across NY, MA, NH, CT, NJ, PA, MD, DC, VA, NC, TN, GA, FL, OH, and MI. Key responsibilities include conducting field rides and coaching sessions with sales representatives to reinforce selling skills, messaging, and execution standards. You will observe customer interactions, provide actionable coaching, and identify individual and team development opportunities related to selling skills, clinical acumen, account planning, and customer engagement. The role supports a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence. You will partner closely with the Zone Director, Regional Business Managers, Marketing, and Commercial Training to support pull-through of brand strategy and national commercial initiatives. This includes ensuring consistency of approved messaging, supporting implementation of marketing campaigns and training programs, translating national direction into practical field applications, and identifying barriers to execution. The position serves as a critical feedback conduit between field teams and internal commercial stakeholders. You will provide regular insights on field execution, market dynamics, customer engagement, competitive positioning, and field execution challenges. You will recommend enhancements to training, tools, and coaching approaches based on field observations. Cross-functional collaboration is essential. You will work with Regional Business Managers on performance opportunities, partner with Commercial Training on program reinforcement and effectiveness, and share field insights with Marketing on messaging clarity and customer response. You will influence without direct authority to drive alignment and field adoption. The role requires high professionalism, integrity, and compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards.
